Vapor Recompression

Vapor Recompression – A Guide to Functions, Types, and Benefits

The working systems in our large-scale industries are changing over time. Vapor Recompression is a new system viral in the top fields and has uses in many fields.

Functions of a Vapor Recompression

When you work in an industry, each item, device, or product has its way to work. Also, for that purpose, you need to make a few changes to that item. But, in the process of making the change, we need to ensure that the quality of the product remains intact.
In industry, we need many products as dry so they can give the best results. Further, we have many techs and systems to dry off an item in a safe way. So, Vapor Recompression or VR is also a system to dry off a product. But this system comes with its style of work.
If we study the system of VR, we’ll find that it has many parts. It consists of a jet ejector or a compressor and a blower. The jet ejector helps to compress and higher the vapor pressure.
Further, when you dry off a product, it produces heat in the whole process. Also, VR recovers the heat. VR higher the temp and pressure to recover the heat. In this recovery process, VR recovers the condensation as well.

Types of Vapor Recompression

VR has a further two types; both having their work purpose and uses. These types are Mechanical and Thermal VR. They are known as MVR and TVR.

Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR)

Mechanical Vapor Recompression works on the recycling system. It uses an electrical compressor twice to save energy. The process of applying the single or twice ventilator also varies from stage to stage.
The factors in selecting the ventilation are heat transfer rate and boiling point rate.

Benefits of MVR

  • It grows the boiling rate in a modest and gentle way, so the quality of your valuables isn’t changing.
  • As MVR uses the same compressor twice, it helps you in a great way to reduce energy costs.
  • MVR keeps a constant temp in the whole process, thus ensuring the quality of products. You can rely on
  • MVR due to these factors and get a lot of profit.

Uses of MVR

You can use MVR in many fields. These fields are here on the list.

  • Milk
  • Starch
  • Sugar
  • Alcohol
  • Pectin
  • Oil
  • Fish and Meat

Thermal vapor recompression (TVR)

Thermal vapor recompression has the same work system as MVR. But TVR uses a part of the vapor to heat the system, unlike the MVR. TVR needs to recover the heat to work, and for this recovery, it compresses the steam. This process of compressing the steam completes in a jet pump.
The working principle of the TVR is the jet pump and is for a certain point in the system. TVR offers many benefits to users.

Benefits of TVR

  • Higher Safety
  • Simple design
  • Effective
  • Low investments

Benefits of Vapor Recompression

So far, we were able to discuss the types of VR and its benefits. VR, in general, provides you with these benefits.

  • Low Energy Use
  • Safe
  • Gentle Process
  • Simple and Effective
